Studio
A defence studio that designs first
Most defence hardware is engineered and then packaged. Yaagni-1 was drawn as a designed object from the first sketch, and the engineering was made to fit that discipline. That is the whole argument for the studio.
01 Doctrine
Design doctrine
01
Design is the engineering
Form, module split and interface are decided first, then the physics is built inside them. Nothing is bolted on at the end to make it look finished.
02
Few, not many
Swarm doctrine buys volume and pays for it in logistics. We buy precision. One rail, one round, one decision, carried by the drone the unit already owns.
03
Legible under stress
A soldier in the dark, in gloves, at altitude, should be able to read the hardware by touch. Orientation, fastener and arming state are all shape coded.
02 Proportion
Drawn to a ratio
Tap a point
Each marker explains what that part of the drawing represents.
Split on the golden section
The body divides where the eye already expects a break. Each division is also a real boundary in the hardware, so the object reads as one proportional line rather than a stack of parts.
Tap a point
Each marker explains what that part of the drawing represents.
One section, carried through
A single constant section governs tooling, packaging and the rail interface. Holding one number instead of four is what keeps small batch production honest.

05 Manufacture
Designed to be made here
Every module is drawn against processes that exist in the Indian supply base today: turned aluminium, composite wrap, and a small number of moulded parts. No feature depends on a single overseas vendor, and no module needs a five axis operation to be produced at rate.
The result is a system that scales by tooling rather than by headcount. That is deliberate. A design first studio only stays small if the object itself is simple enough to be made by other people.
Designed and built in India, for the world.

08 Maturity
Technology readiness
TRL 4
Achieved
Component and breadboard validation in a laboratory environment. Firing chain, avionics bay and module interfaces validated on the bench.
TRL 5
In progress
Validation in a relevant environment. Ground static motor characterisation and captive carry on a representative airframe are complete; environmental qualification is running.
TRL 6
Target
Prototype demonstration in a relevant environment, planned against a sponsored trial with an authorised end user.
Readiness statements describe development status. They are not a statement of released performance and do not constitute an offer of supply.
